Radiator cap rated 16 PSI, the same as 16 lb, with a magnesium sacrificial anode on the underside. The anode corrodes in place of the aluminum in the radiator and the heater core, so it is a wear item and it is meant to be replaced.

What the anode is for
Electrolysis in an aluminum radiator is stray current and tired coolant eating the metal from the inside out. A sacrificial anode gives that reaction something softer to attack, so the anode is consumed instead of the core. Replace the cap when the anode is eaten down.
Before ordering
Match the pressure rating. A cap rated above what the system was built for holds coolant in when a hose or a core should have let go. Measure the filler neck too, because a shallower or deeper neck takes a different cap at the same rating.
