Allow space for the 9-3/8-inch body and 6-inch pop-up stroke. Connect through the 1/2-inch female NPT bottom inlet and install to the appropriate finished grade.

Provide enough operating pressure and flow for the chosen nozzle. The 25 psi minimum operating rating does not mean the regulator can deliver 45 psi from a 25 psi supply.

Flush before installing the nozzle and its required filter screen. Align the pattern with the stem ratchet and adjust the nozzle according to its own instructions.

Use a 45 psi body for a nozzle suited to that pressure target. Compare the 30 psi SAM-PRS model for conventional spray nozzles designed around 30 psi. The SAM check valve limits low-head drainage; it does not repair a leaking upstream zone valve.
