Product Overview
The Houzer MGS-3018-1 Medallion Gourmet is a 30-inch-class undermount kitchen sink with a large open single bowl and one included basket strainer. Its 27-3/16-inch by 15-3/4-inch interior basin provides room for cookware, baking sheets, serving pieces, food preparation, and everyday cleanup without a divider interrupting the work area. The 9-inch bowl depth helps contain water and stacked dishes while maintaining a practical profile for a standard kitchen cabinet.
The sink is fabricated from 18-gauge T-304 stainless steel and finished in lustrous satin with a highlighted rim. SpecPlus edges reinforce the undermount perimeter, while StoneGuard undercoating over Super Silencer pads helps reduce vibration, dish clatter, and condensation beneath the bowl. Houzer’s current specification drawing lists overall dimensions of 29-1/2 inches by 17-15/16 inches and a minimum 36-inch sink base. The standard 3-1/2-inch drain opening accepts a compatible basket strainer or approved disposal connection. The MGS-3018-1 package includes one basket strainer; any optional grid or cutting-board compatibility should be verified against the exact current Houzer accessory list before ordering. Confirm the actual sink, template, countertop support, reveal style, faucet reach, drain and disposal arrangement, and cabinet access before fabrication.
