Product Overview
The Hamat SHPD-2000 MB Sentry is a single-handle pull-down kitchen faucet in matte black with a dedicated hot-water safety shutoff switch. The separate switch adds a point of hot-water control at the faucet, while the matte-black finish creates a clean, high-contrast look against light countertops and sinks or a coordinated appearance with dark hardware. The pull-down hand spray provides stream and spray modes for filling pots, rinsing dishes, cleaning produce, and reaching around the sink.
Its solid-brass body, ceramic-disc cartridge, removable aerator, and extendable hose are designed for everyday kitchen use. The hose extends more than 20 inches, and the forward-action handle has limited rear travel to help reduce contact with a backsplash. Installation requires a 1-3/8-inch countertop hole and supports deck thicknesses from 0 to 2-1/2 inches. The inlet hose measures 23.5 inches, with approximately 19 inches below the deck. Confirm the SHPD-2000 MB SKU, matte-black finish, mounting space, supply connections, and hot-water shutoff configuration before installation.
