Product Overview
The American Granby SC6 is a watertight well cap for closing and protecting compatible 6 in. nominal plastic well casing. A correctly installed cap covers the open casing, provides screened ventilation, and includes a conduit connection for routing pump wiring. These functions support a cleaner, more organized wellhead while allowing the venting and electrical access required by the system design.
The SC6 uses injection-molded ABS and grade 319 aluminum with stainless steel nuts, bolts, and screened vents. It can be solvent welded directly to compatible PVC well casing and is listed as watertight to PAS-97 standards. Confirm the 6-5/8 in. casing outside diameter, plastic casing construction, conduit size, and local well requirements before purchase.
