Brand: Jameson SKU: JA-34DP-PKG
Product Overview
The Jameson JA-34DP-PKG is a Big Mouth Cut-Safe manual pole-pruner package with a 1.75-inch side-cut capacity and a double-pulley system. It is designed for arborists, landscapers, and vegetation-management professionals who need to cut larger branches with less pull force than a comparable single-pulley head requires. The extra mechanical advantage is particularly useful during repetitive pruning where operator effort and rope control matter.
The forged-steel pruner head uses an enhanced return spring for smoother blade movement and a raised hook edge that helps reduce blade drag. A removable upper spring pin and blade bolt allow the cutting blade to be removed for sharpening or replacement. Cut-Safe geometry promotes full blade retraction when the pruner is not under load, helping reduce accidental blade contact during handling.
The current manufacturer package includes the JA-34 pruning head with double-pulley system, a pruning rope, and a wooden rope pull. A fiberglass pole is not included. Verify the ferrule or pole-attachment requirements for the Jameson pole system being used before ordering additional components. Use only from stable ground, establish a drop zone, wear appropriate protective equipment, and never use the pruner or pole assembly on or near energized lines.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the double pulley allow a branch larger than 1.75 inches?
No. It reduces pull effort; the pruner’s maximum cutting capacity remains 1.75 inches.
Is a fiberglass pole included?
No. The current package includes the pruner assembly, rope, and wooden rope pull.
Can the blade be replaced?
Yes. The removable blade bolt and upper spring pin support sharpening and replacement.
