Product Overview
The Barnel B200 is an 8.25 in. bypass hand pruner for routine cutting of live stems, flowers, herbs, and small green branches in gardens, landscapes, nurseries, and greenhouses. In a bypass design, the sharpened blade passes beside the lower blade to create a slicing action that is generally better suited to living growth than an anvil-style crushing cut. Its compact size supports one-handed pruning and detailed plant maintenance.
Cold-forged high-carbon-steel blades have a hard-chrome finish, while the pressure-injection die-cast aluminum handles and body keep the tool light and rigid. A sap groove helps manage sticky residue, the two-position lock supports storage and hand-fit adjustment, and the patented self-oiling center bolt simplifies routine lubrication. Clean and dry the blades after use and avoid stems beyond the tool’s practical capacity.
