Product Overview
The Arlington GPD19B Gard-N-Post is a low-profile outdoor enclosure that creates a dedicated mounting location for a compatible GFCI or other approved wiring device in a garden, yard, patio, or landscape area. The 19.5 in. black post includes a clear extra-duty weatherproof in-use cover, helping protect the installed device while a compatible cord remains connected. Its wider low-profile head keeps the outlet accessible without using a fixture-mounting top.
Built-in stabilizers help hold the post rigid in the ground, and openings in the stabilizers allow additional support material where appropriate. The angle-cut base provides underground wiring access. Confirm the wiring device, conductor routing, cover requirements, grounding, burial depth, and local electrical rules before installation.
