Product Overview
The Classy Caps SLO88 Colonial Solar Post Cap is a black aluminum solar cap for nominal 4 in. x 4 in. wood posts. It includes real pebbled glass panels and a 3-5/8 in. x 3-5/8 in. actual opening.
The stated opening is the key fit measurement for this model, so measure the wood post top before ordering rather than assuming every nominal 4×4 is identical. The cap should seat on a square, level post without forcing the aluminum base. Its pebbled glass provides decorative solar accent light after the included batteries charge during the day. Place the panel in direct sunlight and keep it clear of shade and debris. The fixture is intended to visually finish and mark a post, with nightly output affected by season, weather, panel cleanliness, and battery condition.
